As Creative Director I get to do a lot of design work for Idea-loop, a web and app development shop founded by my buddy Chris McCroskey, and recently we had the opportunity to work on a project near and dear to me, the SETI program at UC Berkeley California.
SETI’s goal, if you don’t already know, is to scan the stars for signs of intelligent life by looking for patterns and order among the various frequencies of the universe.
We started out with a mandate to update the site, but it quickly became aware that they needed a complete overhaul of their digital presence. You can see a complete breakdown of the logo rebranding process at the end of this post.
Fast forward several months to now, and the site has just launched, and I couldn’t be more proud and humbled and awestruck and speechless to have worked on, what I feel, is an immensely important project that could someday change the face of humanity.
You can check out the new site and logo at seti.berkeley.edu
Below is the full logo case study I put together for Idea-Loop.
