Jack Kirby is God.
He was also the king of comics and had strong opinions on UFOs and ancient astronauts.
That is all.

I got a new Moleskine, my first authentic one, at the beginning of this year and oh man do I love it. The paper quality is amazing and it’s already taken a beating without much wear and tear, so I hope to get a lot of use out of it.
I’ve resolved to draw something everyday this year, and I’ll be using this book to keep that promise while getting out some of the crap that runs through my head. I might even put together a sketchbook of all of them once the year’s out, who knows.
Did some sketching and inking over the weekend, and this was the result. Mark Millar and John Romita Jr’s Kick-Ass!
We’ve got another winner over on twitter with my ongoing #followme4freeart giveaways. Congrats to Donald Munsell on his win. His character of choice? Deadpool.
Donald was the first (and only) twatter to respond to the contest question: What were Deadpool’s first words, spoken in New Mutants #98?
The Answer? “You’re Nathan, right?
Congrats again Donald. Be sure and follow me on twitter for a chance to win your own original art.
This time my out-of-state co-worker Michael Green won the random drawing, and chose Batman as his character.
Congratulations Michael!
I’ve got one more sketch to go then I’ll be having another twitter-based contest for more free art and sketches, so be sure to follow me and the hashtag #followme4freeart for a chance to win.
Ciao.
