Space-Gun Studios has taken on the job of getting our friend and collaborator Devin Kraft’s Dragon Slayer book colored and ready to print for his next Kickstarter endeavor. Below is a time-lapse video where I kick off colors on page one using Photoshop CC and a Cintiq. Enjoy!

I just wrapped up this tattoo-inspired, nautical-themed pinup illustration for Tattooed Hippie Pirate Mommas.
Referenced from photographs of THPM members along with countless image searches for classic tattoos, the piece was sketched digitally for quick changes/approvals.
Next up I printed out blue lines on 11×17 bristol and inked them by hand, then scanned, traced & tweaked it in illustrator to output a final vector file (that you see here).
When they get the t-shirts printed up I’ll be sure and show them off!

Wallpaper Wednesday continues with a revised and remastered blast from the past, Water Lilies. This was actually one of the first pieces I finished after creating the Soulcore.net brand so many years ago. Pro tip: keep all your PSDs, you never know when they might come in handy

I’ll be at this weekends’ Dallas Comic Con, along with the entire Space-Gun crew, hawking my wares and getting my geek on.
I’ll have $20 prints, inlcuding 3 new pieces, Stranded, Celestial and Kitty Pryde below, plus copies of Senryu, stickers, original art and more. I’ll also be doing commissioned sketches and sketchbook pieces.
Dallas Comic Con runs Friday May 17th – Sunday May 19th. Hours are Friday 1pm-8pm , Saturday 9am-7pm, and Sunday 10am – 5pm. . For more info check out their website.
