My name's Matthew Warlick and I'm a Dallas-based freelance illustrator, art director and comic book artist.
I started off as an apprentice during the "dot-com boom," then went on to work as an interactive art director at some of Dallas' most prestigious agencies. I quit my day job in 2007 to be my own boss and concentrate on illustration, design and comic book work.
I've had the privilege of working on such brands as Pepsi, Bank of America, American Airlines, (RED), Acura, the United States Air Force, Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, Nokia and Paramount Pictures.
My comics work has appeared in several small press books for Capstone Connection, Digital Webbing and Terminus Media, as well as Red 5 Comics' Atomic-Robo, Robert Kirkman's Astounding Wolf-Man from Image Comics and the Marvel Masterpiece III card set.

“Matthew is a very talented designer and illustrator. Matthew always delivered professional work and I would recommend him to any company."
“Matthew Warlick is as talented and professional as they come. He also has a broad range of skills - from creative graphic design and fine art to the highly technical aspects of website design and prepress layout. He can do it all...a creative Swiss Army Knife. I have enjoyed working with Matthew and look forward to working with him again in the future. Highest recommendation."

“Excellent illustrator, can do comics, web work and much more as his talent for illustration lends its self to many outlets of creative expression."
Interactive Creative Director,
“As a programmer, I often look to Matthew for high-end site designs and original artwork for my creatively-inspired clients. He consistently delivers high-quality work on-time and within budget. Much to his credit, Matt also works extremely well with 'developer-types' like me and has always provided source files, PSD's and whatever else I might need to make future alterations or deliver as part of my projects.
